The Notauri are an alien species resembling minotaurs. Their name seems to come from the words "minotaur" and "notorious".
The Notauri Empire has a treaty with the compies which prohibits notauri intrusions into compie territory.[1][2]
Triss, the only notauri who has appeared so far, is significantly taller and more muscular than any humans or compies, and has red hair, purple skin and yellow horns and teeth.
